The Family & Friends Direct Support Professional (DSP) Program allows individuals who have a close,
personal relationship with a participant, such as family members or friends, to become approved and trained caregivers and provide in-home support services. This model ensures that care is delivered by trusted individuals who understand the participant’s unique needs, preferences, and routines. This program is available to individuals enrolled in New Jersey’s Supports Program or Community Care Program (CCP) through the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
